I smile softly and duck my head. "Guess your district just doesn't have much taste for heroism and bravery huh?" I joke quietly.

He keeps silent and ate ignoring them since most were being disrespectful to him. It wasn't his fault his family was moved from District 4 to the capitol a couple dozen years ago. His eyes narrowed at his plate of food and looked over at them. His turqouise eyes relaxed some and he took a drink from his cup. Unlike ALL capitol citizens he was probably the only one who liked visiting the other districts or going to his family's origins in District 4. But he continued to keep silent. Let them think what they want, it wouldn't effect him and his job. His job was the one thing that kept his family alive.

His eyes looked up and at the girls, and then he stood immediatly when Aubrey came into the room and his chair pushed back as he began towards her but slowed his pace when he saw Osirius behind her escorting her in. Altair took Aubrey's hand and looked at Osirius confused.

Hey me and Aubrey have to use the same laptop I'm over at her house so we'll be switching back and forth while watching this movie..

I watch the slight drama unfolding around me with wide eyes. I am nowhere near used to such acts by people, other than factory workers that I could order around. I just try to stay quiet and eat my dinner in my reaping gown (a diamond embroidered corset and a ballroom style skirt).

Pom-Pom starts to bark at one of the girls so I look up. Her smile scared me, so i quickly pick up Pom-Pom and walk out of the dining car "excuse me..." If it wasn't for my father convincing the piecekeepers to let me take Pom-Pom with me, this whole experience would be unbearable.

I look at Osirius and nod my head, "Thanks." I looked at Altair with a sad smile as a girl who looked to be from district 1 wanted to pass through. I moved aside and Osirius shrugged and left, "I'll be back later." he announced to Altair and me. But by then I was being led to the food table were a small group remained to eat. He let go of my hand and I sat down at the District 6 seat while he remained behind me leaning against my chair. "Soo... uhhh... hey?" I grinned slightly and looked down at my plate of food.

I carry Pom-Pom back to my rather small room, all the while trying to keep her quiet. After I shut my door behind me, I lay on my bed and let Pom-Pom curl up in front of me. I pet her as i hide my face in a pillow and cry.

After I calm down, I walk into the bathroom and fix my makeup. Then, I change out of my outfit that I was wearing because it got wrinckled. I change into a mermaid dress that I packed. This time I leave Pom-Pom in my room, even though she starts to wimper. I walk back into the dining car and sit down properly. "I'm sorry my dog started to bark, it was quite rude."

"Thank you. What district are you from?" I turn to the girl that responded to my statement and start to size her up a bit. We will be attempting to kill eachother after all
